Enjoy reciprocal privileges at over 50 yacht clubs and the amazing camaraderie that the SYC is known for!

Members of Squamish Yacht Club enjoy cruising Howe Sound, Desolation Sound and Vancouver Island. SYC members also enjoy reciprocal privileges at over 50 yacht clubs. Club cruises are offered all year long. Join us to explore the anchorages and marinas along the coast and enjoy the amazing camaraderie that SYC is known for. The annual summer cruise to Camp Potlatch and winter cruise to Princess Louisa are always on our radar. The Cruise-Coordinator organized a minimum of 4 cruises each year for SYC members. If you plan on participating, please contact the Cruise-Coordinator through communications.syc@gmail.com

If you're new to the area or new to boating, cruising with members offers a safe and friendly introduction to the coastal waters and to people with a shared passion for boating.

The first cruise of the year and we're making it a big deal! Join SYC members for a relaxing trip to Plumper Cove, Keats Island. The cruise will feature a Saturday night dinner (BYOB and meat) and a Sunday morning breakfast courtesy of the Squamish Yacht Club. Dock tie-up is $2 a meter per night, mooring buoy is $12 a night and camping on shore is available for those extra guests ($11 a night). Contact communications.syc@gmail.com for any questions and sign-up on our Facebook member page if you plan on attending. We hope to see you there!

Let's all travel together on a cruise to Princess Louisa this winter! Situated near the head of Jervis Inlet. On our journey up, we will pass dozens of cascading waterfalls that trickle down from granite bluffs looming over you on both sides. The sights are incredible during all seasons, but we would like YOU to join us this winter. Don't have heat? We'll figure it out and get you set up. If you are interested on joining us in December for a cruise contact communications.syc@gmail.com and lets go boating! Itinerary and date coming soon.

This annual Father's Day Weekend event is the most anticipated event of the year. Spend a couple of days with your friends and fellow boaters at Camp Potlatch. This getaway is a place where you can swim, rock climb, kayak, canoe, volleyball and enjoy an over night stay.  Located in beautiful Howe Sound, we have been offered a night stay at this unique outdoor, waterfront haven. All we have to do to have this weekend of fun is volunteer 5 hours for a work party on the day of arrival, then its your turn to have some FUN. Potluck dinners, campfire, volleyball playoff or croquet, sometime both. It is truly worth going to this event. Fun for the family and you are helping with a great cause.  Hope to see you there!
